I originally designed and handmade this necklace to wear to a wedding. After that, I received so many questions about where it was from and so many requests to recreate it that I decided to officially make it part of the La Mar Jewelry collection.
Each Pearl Tide Necklace is handmade and completely unique, featuring 100% Keshi pearls. Keshi pearls are especially distinctive because they are formed entirely of nacre, without the solid bead nucleus found in traditional bead-cultured pearls. Their organic shapes, natural textures and individual character make every pearl beautifully unique no two are ever exactly alike. ✨
The pearls are paired with gold-plated stainless steel, creating a delicate yet durable piece designed to last.

Pearls also carry a fascinating history. For centuries, they were among the most precious and coveted treasures in the world, once reserved for royalty and the most privileged, and at different points in history valued alongside, and sometimes even above, other precious gemstones.
